Building your Content Roadmap
A content roadmap is a critical tool for any business that wants to use content
marketing to drive growth. Creating a roadmap let you understanding your audience,
goals, and competition.
The customer marketing strategy aims to move the customer through the customer
journey. The customer journey is the process of evolution in our target audience,
starting from a lack of knowledge of our offer to becoming a customer, possibly a
customer satisfied with our product or service.
The five-step process to create content roadmaps :
1. Contextual content research
2. Define the keyword and topic portfolio
3. Topic ideation and prioritization on potential target relevance
4. Content breakdown structures (taxonomies: theme, topic, subtopic…)
5. Content briefs (summaries of every content piece)
