Key Competences of Social Entrepreneurs
5. Action Competence includes the ability to translate thoughts and plans into action
by engaging in responsible activities aimed at sustainably improving social-ecological
systems.
6. Interpersonal Competence encompasses the ability to interact effectively with
diverse individuals by motivating, enabling and facilitating collaborative and
participatory sustainability activities through communication, collaboration,
negotiation, empathy and compassion.
7. Strategic/Management Competence involves designing and implementing projects
or initiatives that address sustainability issues, requiring skills in sustainable strategy
development, organisational planning, leadership and control.
