Key Competences of Social Entrepreneurs
A social entrepreneur is someone who employs ground-breaking concepts and
methods to address social issues who also take great pleasure in implementing
beneficial changes as a result of their daring actions. They believe that
entrepreneurship is a way to connect with those in need, assist them and effect change
in the world.
According to Lofstrom, there is no entrepreneurship without entrepreneurial
competences. Certain competences related to successful entrepreneurs are repeatedly
emphasized in the literature. In this context, the five key entrepreneurial
competences can be considered as follows:

systematically developing solutions to problems by perceiving, interpreting and
constructing entrepreneurial opportunities.
