Key Competences of Social Entrepreneurs
Recent in business has turned its attention to identifying the core competences
required for change agents to navigate sustainably in a variety of contexts. For
example, in the roles of corporate social responsibility managers and potential
sustainable entrepreneurs, an expanded framework of core competences has been put
forward.
Based on this essential insight, the seven key competences for promoting
sustainability can be considered as follows:
1. System Thinking Competence involves identifying and analyzing relevant systems
and disciplines in different fields, understanding interdependencies and recognising
cascading effects, inertia and feedback loops along with associated cultures.
