GOING LOCAL
Freeness as a basic principle: the culture of giving was introduced as an integral part of
the prototyping. Internal exchanges were conceived without the "quid pro quo"
approach. This was a significant experiment to see how freeness could influence social
dynamics within the group.
Non-structure and flexibility: the absence of a rigid structure was a deliberate choice in
the prototyping phase. Each group was tasked with experimenting and implementing
different approaches to reactivating social relationships while maintaining harmony
with Social Street's general guidelines.
In summary, idea testing was a dynamic process through which Social Street addressed
relevant social issues. Prototyping allowed for experimentation, learning from results,
and continuously adapting the approach, leading to the creation of a network of over
450 groups in Italy and abroad.
