Case Study: Eleanor's Travelling Library
Some community members distrust outsiders and unlikely efforts, leading to
opposition to Eleanor. She uses numerous ways to overcome problems and develop a
successful social enterprise:
Partnerships and Collaborations: She collaborates with local schools, community
groups and government organisations to acquire resources, financing and assistance.
Creative Fundraising: She raises financials and books for her mobile library via
community events, crowdsourcing and book drives. She is also investigating new
revenue sources including training seminars and retail sales.
Adaptability and Flexibility: She tailors programming and services to each
community's requirements. It adjusts a strategy based on community input to enhance
the effect.
