SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Social entrepreneurship involves starting businesses with the primary goal of solving social
problems or effecting social change, often using innovative approaches.
This concept is crucial in recognising how entrepreneurial ventures can be designed to
directly address social challenges like poverty, education gaps, or health issues.
Social entrepreneurs design their thinking around the six P's of launching an idea: people,
problem, plan, prioritise, prototype, and pursue.
