REVITALISATION OF GREENVALE
GreenVale, a picturesque town, faces two major challenges: escalating plastic waste and rising
unemployment. The community, known for its commitment to environmental sustainability, is
seeking innovative solutions. A group of aspiring social entrepreneurs convenes to brainstorm
ideas that can transform these challenges into opportunities for environmental improvement
and job creation.
The entrepreneurs conducted a thorough analysis of GreenVale's challenges. They collected
data on plastic waste levels, unemployment rates, and the impact on the community. They held
an open forum where they discussed the interconnection between environmental degradation
and economic downturn. They debated various approaches, considering both immediate and
long-term impacts on the community.
The entrepreneurs divide into two teams, each with a unique approach. Team A focuses on
environmental restoration, proposing a service to recycle plastic waste into building materials.
Team B aims to boost local employment by designing a range of eco-friendly products made
from recycled materials. Both teams are enthusiastic about their potential to make a significant
difference in GreenVale.
