What is my business value proposition?
It is a statement you will write describing the service or product you will
offer to your customers. It summarises the added value of your business
and explains what differentiates you from other businesses in the social
economy – in what ways yours is complementary to more traditional
practices. It is the core vision of your business.
What is my business’ added value?
It is an extra benefit your business offers to your clients that other businesses are not
offering – you must present an innovative way to create impact as not seen before. In other
words, it is what differentiates your business from others, particularly more traditional ones,
what makes your customers decide to buy your service/product.
How do I examine the added value of my social innovation
business idea in the social economy market?
To evaluate your business idea added value you need to determine your target. You can
create a buyer persona, conduct a market analysis, analyse other similar more traditional
businesses to find out what they are not offering, and get feedback from experts in the field.
In the end, it is also about identifying the social and/or environmental challenge or need you
want to tackle the most innovative way possible.
